Movinter, a leading company in the railway sector and controlled by RedFish LongTerm Capital, has announced the acquisition of 91.5% of Alpi Aviation, an Italian excellence specialized in ultralight aircraft, helicopters, and drones for both civilian and military use.
Founded in 1999, Alpi Aviation has demonstrated its excellence in over 30 countries, exporting 100% Italian design and production. The company, which closed 2024 with a turnover of around 5 million euros, represents a strategic addition for Movinter.
A partnership looking to the future
This move is part of Movinter’s horizontal expansion strategy in the Aerospace, Rail & Navy sectors. With the acquisition of Alpi Aviation, the company strengthens its position in the aerospace market, following the recent acquisitions of Six Italia and S.A.I.E.P.
“The deal fits perfectly into the growth strategy we have implemented,” said Paolo Pescetto, President of Movinter. “We are proud to start this new collaboration, which we are confident will create value in the medium and long term.”
Simone Lo Giudice, CEO of Movinter, also expressed satisfaction: “With the Alpi Aviation team, we immediately found shared values in terms of business and growth strategy. The agreement has allowed us to intensify our presence in the Aerospace market and confirms that our strategy is taking us in the right direction.”
The deal, valued at 3.66 million euros plus a variable component linked to future results, will also see Alpi Aviation co-founder Corrado Rusalen retain a key role as Chief Operating Officer, ensuring the continuity and development of the company.
